Our School Story

A legacy of learning, service and character

St. Michael's School was formed under the "Durgapur Project" in 1963 and opened in 1966. From humble beginnings as a small pre-primary section, it has grown into one of Durgapur's respected co-educational K-12 institutions.

Our motto, Aedifices Et Plantes - "to build and to plant" - expresses our commitment to building future generations and planting values that guide them through life with kindness and integrity.
